Supportive Employment Program
at Hedwig House, Inc.
Hedwig House is a psychosocial rehabilitation program for individuals recovering from mental illness disabilities. This is known as a clubhouse since participants are members and share in both the direction and operation of the program.
Every clubhouse has vocational intensity as it's environment. Members learn in the three major work groups: clerical, food preparation, and maintenance.
They are instructed in the importance of individual responsibilities, and encouraged that, until they become employed, this is their job.
