The Renaissance community is located in Bryn Mawr, PA. and is housed in three apartments and two houses. It is within easy walking distance of public transportation, shopping, and community resources.

The Renaissance Community is a program of Resources For Human development (RHD) and is part of the New Foundations/Wellsprings Supported Housing programs. The renaissance Community serves the Dual Diagnosis (mentally ill & chemical abuse) population exclusively. It offers 24 hour supervision and intensive mental health and drug & alcohol rehabilitation activities.

Consumers may live in the Renaissance Community for so long as it continues to be benefial to them. During that time, residents are expected to participate in program activities, groups, and individual meetings with staff. Each person has a goal which he/she completes with his/her counselor. Goal plans focus upon such areas as skills for daily living, relapse prevention, self monitoring of medication, and vocational development services.
